Affiliate Disclosure And Privacy Policy

Two short statements cover how this site works. First, some links to tours earn this site a share of the sale at no extra cost to you, and no operator ever pays for placement. Second, the site collects almost nothing about you: no names, no emails, no forms, just basic page counts, and Cloudflare keeps routine server logs for security. Both halves are laid out in full below.

How The Links Work

Every button and in-text link leading to a paid tour carries a partner tag through to a live listing on GetYourGuide or Viator, the two platforms selling the 25 tours in this catalog. Book after such a click and the platform shares part of the commission it already collects from the operator. Nothing is added to your ticket, so the price matches what you would pay finding the listing yourself.

The complete picture is brief. Tour links run to GetYourGuide and Viator. The three hotel links in the homepage stay section run through Expedia via the Travelpayouts network. Free and pay-what-you-want walks run through GuruWalk, an independent platform: those links carry a referral tag but sell no ticket, because each walker pays the independent local guide directly at the end, whatever they decide the walk was worth. A GuruWalk walk is not sold by this site. There are no display ads, no sponsored posts and no paid placements of any kind. If a further network is ever added, it will be named here and in the footer disclosure in the same change that ships its first live link.

What We Never Take

Numbers On The Cards

Every rating and review count printed here is the figure the listing itself publishes, never blended across platforms and never rounded in the site's favor. A thin sample stays thin: the 48 reviews on the private Castelli Romani wine tasting, the smallest in the catalog, appear as 48 beside the 6,871 on the Twilight Trastevere walk. Ratings run from 4.6 to 5 and prices from $33.68 to $191.67, exactly as the 16 operators list them.

Every card shows the cheapest option on that listing, and all 25 tours publish a from-price in US dollars within that range. Some are quoted per person and some per group, where the figure moves with party size, and the card says which. For any given date the live listing is always the authority: prices shift with season and availability, and the booking page holds the final word.

Eating Rome Without Paying Us

Rome also rewards you for free, and those routes cost this site nothing and earn it nothing. Wander the Testaccio or Trionfale market alone, order supplì at a counter, queue at a bakery, or eat your way through the Ghetto on your own budget. Where going without a ticket beats buying one, the guides say so, and they are collected in the guides.

There is no steering upmarket. The cheap street-food walk sits in the same lineup as the private and VIP tier, a hands-on class costs less than a golf-cart afternoon, and both get a fair card. The pricing basis, per person or per group, is labelled on each card, and no figure appears here that could not be stood behind.

Booking Without This Site

You can book any of these days without us. Every card names the company running the tour, so you can go to the operator directly or find the same listing by searching the platform. The FAQ covers how bookings work and the guides cover what to expect from each operator. What matters is that you have a good day in Rome, not which link you click. Wondering how a tour made the shortlist? The about page explains the method, and anything else can go to us as a note.

Data Gathered Here

Comparing Rome food tours, cooking classes and market walks is the only thing this site does, and it keeps its measurement deliberately thin. It counts page views, rough referrers, device type and which outbound listing links get clicked, so it can tell whether a page actually helped someone choose between a Trastevere evening walk and a pasta class near the Pantheon. That is the whole picture. No names, no email addresses, no phone numbers and no card details, because nothing here asks for any of them and there is nothing to buy. The tours themselves are booked elsewhere, and that handover is described below.

Third-Party Scripts

The analytics tool sets its own cookies when it counts visits. Any embedded map of the food-tour neighbourhoods, whether Trastevere, Testaccio or the streets around Campo de' Fiori, loads from its provider as the page renders, and it sets cookies under that provider's policy rather than this one. Each of these tools can be switched off in your browser without breaking anything on the page.

Booking happens on the live listing page, not here. From the moment you click through, the platform's systems and the operator's systems are in charge, and their cookies are theirs, governed by their own policies. The same applies to any restaurant or market site reached from these pages. Who pays what, and when, is set out in the Affiliate Disclosure above.

Off The Table Entirely

Hosting

Cloudflare serves these pages and keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and abuse filtering. That is a normal part of how the web runs. Nobody goes through those logs to profile or name individual readers, and they are not used to build any picture of who read which page about which tour.

Your Choices

You have real choices here. A script blocker, tracking protection or a private window switches the analytics off and nothing breaks, because every listing renders without JavaScript. And if you would rather skip this site entirely, you can go straight to the platform that sells a tour, or to the operator itself, and book without passing through here. Every card names its operator.
